....Division North club replace Phil Brown, who is stepping down after three seasons due to work commitments with Myerscough College.
Myerscough's Football Development Centre chief draw praise from current City boss Tony Hesketh, who also highlighted that the clubs links with Myerscough College is to remain unaffected.
"We have the same links with the college as before. Phil is a thoroughly professional guy and put a lot of his time into Lancaster City, perhaps to the detriment of Myerscough, so common sense prevailed."
On the continuing Myerscough link, Hesketh said "The link is still strong and the reserve side will still play from the college, with a strong link to the first team."
Hesketh has also confirmed his decision to replace the departing Brown with ex-Dolly Blue player and manager Barrie Stimpson.
The former City defender managed the Dolly Blues during their Conference North administration year in 2006 and continued to help steer the club to their position of promotion contenders in the NPL First Division North.
Stimpson managed City until March 2009, when Hesketh took over the reins in the dug-out and Stimpson left to manage West Lancs League side Garstang.
Hesketh said: "I've worked with Barrie in two other spells at Kendal Town and Lancaster City. I know what he's going to bring to the club and I'm looking forward to building our relationship again and hopefully taking Lancaster City a stage further this season."
