Lawrence Edwards netted both EP’s goals on 40 and 45 minutes.

Elsewhere in Division One, Arundel went down 2-1 at Crowborough. The hosts were 2-0 up, before Joe Warner scored Mullets’ goal with 10 minutes left.

Lancing drew 1-1 at home to Redhill to record their first point of the season. Darren Boswell gave Lancers an 18th minute lead, before Niall Egan equalised on 44 minutes.

Aaron MacMillan scored twice as Shoreham won for the first time this season, 2-1 at home to Horsham YMCA.

Worthing United got their first point of the season with a 2-2 draw at home to Rye United.

Tom Donnelly and Richard Maymon, with the equaliser 5 minutes from time, were on target for United.

In Division Two, Chris Darwin scored a hat-trick as Rustington won 5-3 at Saltdean. Steve Kirkham and Andy Boxall also netted for Blues.

Littlehampton Town won 2-1 at Southwick with Danny Hand getting the winner midway through the second half.

Jamie Atterwell gave Golds an eighth-minute lead, before Idriz Adedoja equalised on 27 minutes.

Mile Oak drew 1-1 at Broadbridge Heath with Liam Garrard getting the equaliser on 63 minutes.

Steyning Town lost 4-2 at Eastbourne Unied, after trailing 4-0 at half-time. Phil Williamson and Sonny Williamson were on target for Town.

Nathan Parke scored for Wick, who went down 3-1 at Seaford.

Storrington suffered a 4-1 reverse at home to Newhaven. Liam Humphreys scored for Swans.

In Division Three, Chad Milner, Arron Farrier and Ross Fraser scored in Ferring’s 3-1 win over Rottingdean.

Kerry Hardwell netted a late winner for Clymping in their 1-0 success at Roffey.
