Swift Return to Management for Bamber
Kit Bamber

.....just days after he was shown the door by ChromaSport & Trophies United Counties League Division One side Buckingham Town.

Bamber’s exit from Buckingham came as a shock but he has made a swift return to football.

The 35-year-old said: “I am delighted to have been appointed and I am looking forward to working with everyone at the club.”

A Winslow club statement read: “We believe Kit is the ideal candidate to help us continue the growth of our club.

“We feel he will help get us back into the first division of the Spartan South Midlands League whilst continuing with the growth of the whole club.

“Kit is a hard worker with good management and coaching skills who has managed at this level before.

“He will be working closely with our management team of the reserve and academy managers.

“It will continue the growth of our development sides whilst making sure the first team can gain promotion.”

United Chairman Colin O’Dell added: “I am very pleased with the appointment of Kit Bamber as our new first team manager.

“He is going to fit in with the club’s ethos and I feel he will give us some stability.

“The amount of interest we have received in the job shows Winslow is a place that people wish to be, which is very pleasing.”
