Tiverton Town`s marvellous week got even better on Tuesday night as they followed up Bank Holiday Monday`s 2-0 win at Salisbury FC to win the Evo-Stik League Southern Division One South & West play-off final by claiming the Devon St Luke`s Challenge Cup just 24 hours later!

Tivvy played a South West Peninsula League Premier Division Exmouth Town side managed by their former favourite, Richard Pears.

The game, played at Devon FA`s headquarters at Newton Abbot, saw the underdogs take an early lead.

But Tivvy came back to win 3-1, courtesy of an Owen Howe hat-trick, although Exmouth finished the game with ten-men after the vastly experienced former Torquay United stalwart Kevin Hill was sent-off late on.
