Rob Hunter - departed

.....of assistant-manager Rob Hunter and coach Mark Smitheringale by adding Mike Morton to the boot room.

The Manchester City junior coach and former Pickering Town assistant, who studied at York College and also is now a part-time member of staff at its football development centre, will join up with Albion ahead of their 2012/13 campaign.

The club hopes Morton’s experience working for the Premier League champions as well as his knowledge of the local area will help them to better last season’s eighth place. Taddy have also seen goalscoring midfielder Graham Whitehead depart but four new signings are expected shortly.

The club hope to continue the annual pre-season fixture with York City though it has not been confirmed.

Albion will face Blue Square Bet North newcomers Bradford Park Avenue as part of their pre-season preparations and have a confirmed fixture against another Conference North side, Harrogate Town, on Saturday, July 24th.
