Tansley Returns to Borrowash
Anthony Tansley

.....Anthony Tansley from Evo-Stik Northern Premier League Premier Division side Stocksbridge Park Steels and should be fit to feature in two weeks.

Tansley joined Steels a few weeks into the 2011/12 season from Borrowash for a second spell at Bracken Moor.

A hard working midfielder, he has also spent time in the Scottish League with Elgin City.

Wilson said of his latest signing: "This is a great signing for us and adds more quality and depth to the midfield area and with players taking holidays and unavailability I did not hesitate in persuading Anthony.

“We can benefit each other - he knows our goals and he has matured as a player and was a crowd favourite at Stocksbridge last season. But with work commitments and the travelling in NPL Premier Division it was a tough ask to commit.

“There were several clubs after his signature but he has history at the club and wants to help us achieve our goal.

“He is nursing a nasty head injury at the minute and we anticipate he will be in the squad and fit by the time we travel to Stamford AFC in the FA Cup on August 25th and in the meantime it's up to the other players to show they are worthy of the shirt."
