....manager Rob Taylor declaring himself happy with his current squad.
Ahead of the Tangerines’ first official pre-season friendly at Cromer Town on Tuesday Taylor sees the avalability of midfielders Luke Catchpole, who is back from travelling, and Jon Abbott once again as like new signings.
And while several triallists have joined in training with the side, he has revealed he is in no rush to acquire new signatures.
“We have managed to keep everyone from last year and that is good news,” said the ex-Manchester City forward.
“There are a few boys floating about at the moment looking for the best deals and once the games start people find out where they are going to be.”
He added: “I am not too bothered about new signings, I think we have got a good squad of players.
“The boys have been working hard at training and they are a good bunch and hopefully we can push on this year.
“I hope to get us in the top six to eight which will be tough, but hopefully we can do that.”
The Tangerines, who finished sixteenth in their first season back in the Premier Division last term, will begin their new campaign with a trip to Essex-based Stanway Rovers on August 4th.
