Wednesday`s only game in the Bostik League South saw mid-table sides Thamesmead Town and Faversham Town do battle at Princes Park.

And, despite Faversham starting the game five points behind Mead in the table, their 3-2 win went to form as this represented Faversham`s fourth game without defeat, while Thamesmead now haven`t won in four.

And Faversham had to come back from being a 36th minute Tom O`Connor goal down at the break to win.

Mark Lovell equalised from the penalty spot on the hour-mark, only for O`Connor to restore Mead`s advantage in the 75th minute.

Just 3 minutes later though, youngster Luke Griffiths equalised a minute after coming off the bench.

And the 18-year-old made it 11 goals for the season to date by grabbing the winning goal in stoppage time.
