Terriers Forced to Kick-Off at 1pm

....League First Division fixture between Bedlington Terriers and Bishop Auckland, scheduled to be played on Saturday, 14th January, has been moved to 1pm.

The recent winds have again caused damaged to the floodlights which the club are looking to fix, however the wet weather is causing problems getting the required equipment onto the pitch to carry out the repairs without causing irreversible damage to the playing surface.

“We have been in discussions with both the league and officials at Bishop Auckland to explain the situation,” explained Bedlington Terriers chairman David Holmes.

"We had been hoping to able to get on and address the problems. However, this hasn’t been possible time so we have been left with no option but to move the kick-off time to 1pm to allow the game to take place without the use of the lights."
