Thamesmead also have quite a few of last year’s squad who have agreed to come back to the club for the new season.

The squad currently includes Lewis Tozer, Lea Dawson, Ashley Probets, Danny Penny, Jack Hopkins, James Donovan, Chuck Duru, Rikki Cable and Danny Kerrigan.

They join new signings Rob Budd, Ross Lover, Quentin Conteh, Oliver Poole and Emmanuel Osei.

Mead had their first pre-season training sessions last week and there was a good turnout of players.

They were put through a good session by Rob Dillon, Thamesmead’s reserve team manager.

They have a few more training sessions before the first pre-season friendly against Dartford on Saturday.
