Thanoj, along with Frankie Artus, were offered new deals after meetings with the Town management on Monday.
Artus has been offered a one-year deal, which he is currently considering.
Meanwhile, Gary Silk is the latest player to be told he doesn't have a future with the Mariners.
Silk joins Anthony Church, Kiernan Hughes-Mason, Rob Duffy, Scott Garner and Michael Coulson at the Blundell Park exit door.
Silk was the manager's first summer signing, penning a one-year deal with the Mariners and going onto make twenty-one appearances for the club.
