Thatcham Return for Allaway

.....with players ahead of the new season and has announced the return of a familiar face.

Defender Ricky Allaway has rejoined the club from Southern Division One South & West side Abingdon United where he was captain last season.

Thatcham supporters will remember Allaway from his previous time at the club when he was also captain. He enjoyed a successful time, including promotion to the Southern League before moving on to Oxford City, with whom he gained promotion to the Southern Premier Division.

He has also had spells at Slough Town, Didcot Town, Hungerford Town and most recently Abingdon United.

Before his first stint at Thatcham he spent time as a youngster at Reading with his twin brother Sean, being named on the Reading substitutes` bench as a 17-year-old.
