AFC Telford United have confirmed that Josh Wilson has not been offered a new deal and will be leaving the Vanarama National League North club.

Wilson has played a huge role in securing the club’s survival over the past two years, particularly this season, finishing top goalscorer for the club.

Bucks boss Rob Smith confirmed his departure: “After discussions with Josh I feel it is best for him to find a new challenge closer to his home town as I know the travelling was becoming problematic.

“I would like thank Josh personally for his efforts, he us a great character who played a massive part in the club retaining its National League North status. I wish him all the best in everything he does”.
