Brad Quinton says Braintree Town have got to improve based on their last showing writes Tom Feaheny.
They were defeated 3-1 against Havant and Waterlooville with the result meaning Town dropped to fourth, a win would have moved them to joint top.
“I was bitterly disappointed at the outcome particularly at giving away three penalties in the second half and some of my players were simply not at the races. It’s left a bitter taste in my mouth,” Quinton told the club’s website.
“It also means that their confidence goes when things start to go wrong and that’s what happened in the second half and every player has to be fully fit – there’s no hiding place.”
“We did miss our injured skipper Marc Okoye in defence but overall our performance was poor and there will be changes.”
