Concord Chairman To Repay Fans After Home Thrashing

Concord Rangers fans who witnessed their 5-0 drubbing at the hands of Bath City on Saturday have been offered a refund by generous chairman Anthony Smith.

The struggling Beach Boys have won just once in their last eight games and are six points above the relegation zone.

The visitors blew Concord away in the first-half, racking up a 4-0 scoreline by half-time. Things did improve for the hosts in the second but Bath still added a fifth late on.

Chairman Smith, who was abroad at the time of the game, was just as displeased as the Concord fans and has thoughtfully offered them free entry to their next home game on Easter Monday or their money back.
