National League Woking are set to sign winger Regan Charles-Cook on loan from League One side Charlton Athletic.
The 20-year-old spent time at the Cards’ league rivals Solihull Moors last season.
The pacy winger made 13 appearances for the Moors, scoring four goals, after he signed on loan until the end of the season in February. That month, Charles-Cook scored against Woking during the Surrey-based club’s 2-1 win over Solihull.
This season, Charles-Cook played 90 minutes in Charlton’s 2-1 EFL Cup triumph at Exeter City on August 8th and 67 minutes in their 4-1 second round defeat at Norwich City.
Earlier this week, he played the full 90 in the Addicks’ 2-0 victory over Crawley Town in the Checkatrade Trophy.
Anthony Limbrick’s men have picked up nine points from their opening seven games. The Woking manager has been working for the past few weeks to add players to his squad, with it felt that greater depth is needed.
