Vanarama National League club Woking have signed midfielder Kane Ferdinand from National League South side East Thurrock United.
The former Southend United and Peterborough United joined East Thurrock in September.
The cousin of former England internationals Rio and Les Ferdinand, Kane made his Rocks debut when coming off the bench in an amazing 6-0 win at Truro City.
Ferdinand, 24, came through the youth system at Southend and went on to make sixty-one first-team appearances for the Shrimpers, scoring 10 goals.
He moved to Peterborough in August 2012 for a £200,000 fee and played for Posh in the Championship and League One, totalling forty-six games.
Whilst with Posh, Ferdinand also had loan spells with Northampton Town, Luton and Cheltenham Town before leaving London Road by mutual consent in the summer of 2015, joining Dagenham & Redbridge.
Capped by the Republic of Ireland at under-18, under-19 and under-21 level, he played fourteen times for the Daggers before leaving towards the end of last season.
He trialled with Yeovil Town before signing for the Rocks.
