Matt Porter has returned back to Leyton Orient on their Board of Directors writes Tom Feaheny.

The former CEO originally joined the club back in 2006. He has now been brought back by new owner Nigel Travis. To join himself and Kent Teague on the board.

Speaking to the club’s official website Porter said.

“I am delighted to be returning to the Club and I didn’t have to think twice to take up a position on the Board when Nigel offered it to me.

“This is a time for us to look to the future and there’s a great buzz around the place because everyone knows how difficult things have been and that cloud has now been lifted.

“I’ve been working with Nigel on this since the start of the year and it was frustrating for us how long the process took, but the enthusiasm and dedication of the group really shone through for me and I know they’ll be great owners of the Club.”
