Vanarama National League South club Whitehawk have signed former Queens Park Rangers midfielder Frankie Sutherland.
Born in Hillingdon, Sutherland has been with QPR since his schoolboy days and made the breakthrough with Ireland at under-17 level, qualifying through his Donegal-born grandmother.
He went on to feature in the Ireland under-19 and under-21s.
Although he failed to make the breakthrough in the Rangers first-team, he had loan spells at Portsmouth, Leyton Orient, AFC Wimbledon, Dagenham & Redbridge and Crawley Town whilst at Loftus Road.
He was released by QPR at the end of last season and signed for National League side Woking in September, but left Kingfield recently after making ten appearances for the Cards.
