Leyton Orient’s new manager Steve Davis knows anything is possible with his club’s supporters now onside.
Orient’s first pre-season game was a big success after a 6-1 win over Harlow Town on Saturday afternoon.
Davis was delighted by what he saw on and off the pitch after a worrying summer for supporters.
Things are better now and with the Vanarama National League club under new ownership the future is looking a lot brighter.
The O’s have been on a signing spree and more new faces could be announced next week.
“It was a good occasion and nice to see so many fans come and support the team and support everyone involved at the football club,” Davis told the East London Advertiser.
“It looks like they are going to be behind us from what I have seen today and I think the game was a good work-out and we have got to play games on this surface, so from that point of view it was good.
“It is a little step forward and we have still got a lot of work to do.
“I have only taken the team for a couple of training sessions, but I am happy with where they are at the moment.”
