Woking will announce their new manager and assistant on Sunday evening after deciding not to renew Garry Hill and Steve Thompson’s contracts.

At 6pm the Cards’ management team shall be revealed.

Due to negotiations with a potential investor entering their final stages, the Woking board explained they were “not in a position to offer a new contract to the present management team” on Thursday, resulting in Hill and Thompson’s departure from the club over six and a half years since they had arrived.

The following day, the Cards’ hierarchy announced a partnership with Blackbridge Sports, run by 25-year-old Alexander Jarvis, offering “world-class financial solutions across the Eurasian continent”.

It was said that the transfer of shares from the majority shareholder Peter Jordan to the investor will take place at a general meeting towards the end of the month, when the investor’s identity shall be revealed.

And today supporters were informed that they can expect an announcement on Sunday evening regarding the new management.

Fans were also invited to attend a forum with Hill and Thompson’s replacements on Wednesday evening.
