Fans have been speculating and the rumour mill has spun into overdrive with the likes of Tranmere striker Andy Cook linked.

Keates says a deal is as good as done and he told The Leader that the wait is very nearly over.
“It is as good as it can be and he will be with us on Monday,” said the Racecourse boss.
“Everything is in place and sorted. He has got a young family and there were things that needed sorting out on that side.
“It is not just a case of a player coming into the football club, he is bringing the family into a new area and we have to make sure everything was right for his family.”
