Evo-Stik League Southern Division One South & West club Bideford have announced their first two new additions to the squad for next season.

Manager Sean Joyce has signed former Plymouth Argyle and Hereford United right winger or right-back Sol Wheatley.

Wheatley, a Hartpury College student, made forty-six appearances and scored 4 goals for league rivals Bideford last season.

Bideford have also announced the signing of locally-based centre-back James Mayne from local rivals Barnstaple Town.

Mayne joined Barum in 2014 from Ilfracombe Town and was previously with Torrington.
