Cup Successes For Whites, Dynamo & Rovers

Salisbury FC, beaten in the Evo-Stik League Southern Division One South & West play-off final by Tiverton Town last week, lifted a trophy on Wednesday night.

Eddie Perrett scored the only goal after 11 minutes as Steve Claridge`s side beat Sydenhams Football League (Wessex) Premier Division neighbours Bemerton Heath Harlequins 1-0 to win the Salisbury Hospital Cup.

Lewis Benson, skipper for the day, lifted the trophy for The Whites.

Midland League Premier Division outfit Shepshed Dynamo won the Loughborough Charity Cup final in emphatic fashion at the Dovecote on Wednesday night.

They beat North Leicestershire League minnows Loughborough FC 7-1, with Matt Gardner helping himself to five goals himself.

Liam Hurst had opened Dynamo`s account and Joel Carta added the other, with Josh Adkin netting a 90th minute consolation – only their third shot on target all night.

And Blackpool Wren Rovers won the West Lancashire League Cup final against Garstang.

A brace from Daniel Morris sealed Rovers` success.

Rovers, currently top of the table, will now be hoping to go on and make it a `double` if they beat Longridge Town on Saturday.
