Symons Signs – Two Released By Hereford

Mike Symons has agreed terms to stay with Evo-Stik League Southern Division One South & West champions Hereford FC for the 2017/18 campaign.

After mulling over the offer from manager Peter Beadle overnight the former Gloucester City and Worcester City frontman, with 46 goals in a Bulls shirt so far, has agreed to extend his stay.

Beadle has met with the remainder of the 2016/17 squad regarding their futures at the club.

John Mills, Jamie Edge, Alex Harris, Martin Horsell, and Calvin Dinsley have been offered and accepted new terms for the 2017/18 season. In addition, Ryan Green and Rob Purdie have now agreed terms, having received offers on Tuesday night.

Pablo Haysham and Mark Preece have also been offered new terms and are considering the offers.

Tristan Plummer is weighing up a number of options, while Jamie Molyneux is yet to be spoken to as he is on holiday.

Meanwhile, Joel Edwards and Jake Sinclair have been released.
