Bideford have announced that winger Billy Tucker has confirmed his commitment to play for the Evo-Stik League Southern Division One South & West club in the forthcoming 2017/18 season.

Manager Sean Joyce is delighted that Tucker, who scored 13 goals for The Robins last season, has made his intentions clear so quickly.

“This is really good news that Billy has decided to commit to me again for next season and puts an end to recent speculation in the press,” Joyce said. “I’m aware there were other teams interested in signing him and his early confirmation that he wants to stay playing for me with Bideford means a lot.”

Since re-joining The Robins back in January 2015 Tucker has scored 24 goals and has been a key player in Joyce’s side.
