AFC Hornchurch secured their place back in the Bostik League Premier after an emphatic 6-1 win at The Village Glass Stadium in the Bostik North against Witham Town on Saturday.
The Urchins knew a win would secure their promotion, although Witham had beaten them at home earlier in the season.
But they gained revenge with a stunning performance, taking a 2-0 half-time lead through Bradley Warner on 20 minutes and Elliott Styles on 45 minutes and while Liam Whipps halved the deficit on the hour-mark, the Urchins pulled clear in the final half-hour with a George Purcell penalty on 62 minutes, sub Alex Bentley on 73 minutes, Warner again 7 minutes later and another sub, Chris Assombalonga, in stoppage time.

Who goes up with the Urchins automatically is still very much up for grabs, with Potters Bar Town, Bowers & Pitsea and Haringey Borough still in the frame.
Potters Bar dropped two points in sharing a 0-0 draw with now second-bottom Romford and are second, leading by a point but with only two games remaining.
Bowers beat mid-table Mildenhall Town 3-1 at the Len Salmon Stadium with goals from David Knight and then Adam Vyse and Callum Leahy in the second half after Tom Debenham had equalised.
Bowers still have four games to play and are favourites to finish second.
Haringey are the outsiders as they are four points behind Potters Bar with three games to go but ended Dereham Town`s hopes with a 2-0 win at Aldiss Park, courtesy of goals in the final couple of minutes from subs Chinedu McKenzie and Jordan Edwards.
Canvey Island and Heybridge Swifts occupy the remaining top six spots with Maldon & Tiptree in seventh, three points adrift of the play-off places with four games remaining, but they firmly stayed in contention with a 5-0 drubbing of Aveley at Parkside in front of 323.
Colchester United loanee Eoin McKeown scored a hat-trick for the Jammers with Chris Millar and a Lee Barnard penalty adding the others.
Canvey beat Hertford Town 2-1 at The Frost Financial Stadium with a first half Martin Tuohy brace – the second from the spot – being enough with Ricky Light`s reply coming in time added on at the end of the game.
Heybridge enjoyed a 2-1 success with late drama at the Aspen Waite Arena against Tilbury.
Kreshnic Krasniqi put the hosts ahead with a 62nd minute penalty but the Dockers` Albert Keith levelled with only 3 minutes remaining.
But Heybridge snatched a last-gasp winner from Ryan Henshaw.
Norwich United dropped to the bottom spot following Romford`s draw with Potters Bar and the Planters 3-1 loss at Mayesbrook against Barking, whose Kiernan Hughes-Mason bagged a brace after Ben O`Brien`s early 3rd mkinute opener – Damon Cooper replied.
Cheshunt are not out of danger yet, but their 1-0 Theobalds Lane win over Grays Athletic pulled them six points clear of the Planters with four games left.
A 69th minute Kyle Roberts goal proved enough for the Ambers.
Elsewhere, Ware won 3-1 at the Wardale Williams Stadium against AFC Sudbury, thanks to Louis Bowen, Damien Green and Josh Oyibo – Callum Harrison for the hosts – and Soham Town Rangers triumphed 2-1 at Capershotts against Waltham Abbey, whose Mitch Hahn scored in stoppage time after Sam Mulready and Craig Gillies had given the Greens their two-goal cushion.
And a Ollie Hughes double after 13 and 48 minutes sealed Bury Town`s 2-0 win over Brentwood Town at Ram Meadow.
