Titus Bramble The Latest Ex Premier League Player To Join A Non-League Club

Former Ipswich Town, Newcastle United and Sunderland defender Titus Bramble has joined Stowmarket Town writes Tom Feaheny.

The Thurlow Nunn Premier Division side announced via social media that the 36-year-old had officially signed forms with the club on Thursday night.

The deal is for one-year with Rick Andrews’ newly-promoted side. He will combine his on-field commitments with a player-coach role, whilst carrying on his coaching duties within the Ipswich Town academy.

Bramble started his career with Ipspwich Town in their academy before becoming a professional for them, where he made nearly 50 appearances, he then played over 100 games for Newcastle United after joining for a fee in the region of £6 million.

He also had spells at Wigan Athletic and Sunderland in the Premier League before moving into a youth coaching role.

Bramble could make his Stow debut at Felixstowe & Walton, in the league on Saturday.
