...players, taking the total to nine players bought in so far this season.
The Dockers have signed Ben Crooks, Kurt Husnu, Tom Wraight, Jake Pooley and Mbiyeye Medine.
Crooks is a young defender who has signed from local rivals East Thurrock United and will still be part of the under-18s side in the coming season too.
Husnu is a promising full-back formerly of Southend United and non-League clubs such as Redbridge and Tonbridge Angels, while Wraight is a young winger who has shown a lot of promise and energy coming through the youth system at Tilbury, being part of the under-18s of last season.
Pooley is another promising young player from East Thurrock, who joined after impressing on trial, and Medine, known as `Mo`, is an established central midfield player who started his career at West Ham before moving to big non-League outfits such as Cambridge United and Boston United.
The club has also bought back goalkeeper Dean Driscoll, who is part of Thurrock College academy run by Vaughan.
Driscoll was part of the squad earlier last term before leaving and going on trial to Southend United. Unfortunately, he is currently injured with a back injury.
However, Tey Lynn Jones, last season`s second choice `keeper for the first-team and a regular in the under-18s, has left the club for Blue Square Bet South neighbours Thurrock.
