The Midland Football Alliance

....Premier League First Division South sides have completed transfers to Baker Joiner Midland Alliance club Gresley FC.
Former midfielder Danny Holmes is back at the Moat Ground after agreeing to return to the club from Leek Town, whom he joined in the summer.
The ex-Port Vale, Burton Albion and Altringham player was hugely instrumental in the second half of last season's East Midlands Counties League title-winning campaign for Gresley but decided to make the step up the non-League Pyramid this season much to the club's and its supporters` disappointment.
However, a few months on and Norton has persuaded the midfielder back to the Moat Ground to rejoin the club.
Holmes will go straight into the squad for the weekend's fixture at Stratford Town and the move has proven to be a timely one with fellow central midfielder James Jepson away on holiday and Gareth Langford, who deputised last weekend, on best man duties at a wedding.
Norton commenting on his new capture said: "We are delighted to have Danny back at the club. He is a player of huge pedigree and was excellent for us last season in the run in that saw us win the league.
“We were really sorry to see him leave to join Leek although fully understood his reasons for doing so at the time. He promised that if it didn't work out he would come back to us and so it's proved. I'd like to thank Leek Town for their help in making it happen."
Also joining the club is full-back Luke Chambers from Belper Town, whom he had rejoined earlier this season after a twelve-month spell with local rivals Mickleover Sports.
He originally signed for the Nailers in 2007 having emerged from the Burton Albion academy and enjoyed three successful years at Christchurch Meadow.
Chambers also spent some time in the United States playing for the Los Angeles Blues before returning to England to resume his football education.
