Hengrove Athletic have announced that John Durbin has agreed to become the Toolstation Western League Division One club`s new first-team manager.

Durbin was a vital part of last season’s management team after joining last summer from Broad Plain where he was manager before stepping down at the end of the 2015/16 season.

Durbin impressed all with the way he went about his business at Hengrove.

He will be assisted by Ricky Bush and Grantley Dicks.

Hengrove are delighted that Dicks has agreed to stay on in his role and his experience and winning mentality will be vital for the squad in the season ahead.

Grantley Dicks

Durbin was keen to get Bush involved and worked hard on getting the deal done and is sure he will prove to be a valuable member of the team and the club.
