.....Premier neighbours Lincoln City. Barraclough, who spent the majority of last season on loan with Evo-Stik Northern Premier League Premier Division side Buxton, will be at the Northolme until January 2nd 2013 and will link up with them in time for their trip to Stalybridge Celtic tomorrow night.
Barraclough initially penned a one-year contract with the Imps in the summer of 2011 after impressing during a pre-season trial spell at Sincil Bank.
Nuneaton-born Barraclough had spent the previous three years in the United States having previously represented Lincolnshire FA sides as well as the Lincoln College side.
A former season ticket holder at Sincil Bank having moved to Lincoln at the age of four, Barraclough combined his football in the States with his studies for a degree in psychology and was a regular goalscorer during his time with the Bellarmine University Knights and Cincinatti Kings sides.
Returning to England in May 2011, he was invited to a trial by former Imps' boss Steve Tilson having sent him a YouTube video clip of his exploits across the pond and having linked up with the club on their return to pre-season training, he impressed enough to earn himself a twelve-month professional contract.
In a bid to gain valuable first-team experience, he was loaned to Buxton in November 2011 by Tilson's successor David Holdsworth with the deal being extended until the end of the season four weeks later.
A regular on the scoresheet whilst at the Silverlands, his hard work was rewarded recently with a season-long extension to his City contract.
