Trio Commit to Hatters
Alex Lawless

......agreeing one-year contracts at Kenilworth Road.

Midfielder Alex Lawless has now officially put to pen-to-paper on a new deal, whilst 18-year-olds Newman Carney and Alasan Ann have signed their first professional contracts.

Lawless, 27, who joined the Hatters in 2010, has made seventy-six appearances and scored seven goals in Town colours.

Teenage duo Carney, a defender, and Ann, a forward, have both featured for the Hatters before in the FA Trophy.

Carney made his debut as a substitute in the 2-1 victory at Welling United in December 2010, whilst Ann featured as a second half substitute in a 4-0 win over Uxbridge a month later.

The highly-rated duo will now be training on a full-time basis with the first-team.

Town boss Paul Buckle said: "It's great to have these three lads on board for next season.

"Alex is only 27 but has bags of experience while Alasan and Newman are up-and-coming youngsters who have an awful lot of potential.

"For those two, the hard work starts now - they have become professionals and are now part of the first team squad. It's up to them to impress me.

"Our club has a terrific history of producing young talent and, with the help of senior pros like Alex, I am confident that they will flourish and become important players for us."
