.....players reported back for training at allpay.park.

Edwards has signed central defender Dene Whittal-Williams from relegated Stourport Swifts.

Whittal-Williams is a central defender who is very experienced, having played Southern League football at both Malvern Town and Swifts.

Westfields have also signed Wellington winger Wayne McNeill, who is well-known to supporters from his performances in two Hereford FA Senior County Cup final appearances against them.

McNeill has been a regular in West Midlands (Regional) League football at Wellington over the past season, scoring regularly.

Westfields’ third pre-season signing is Jack Skinner, a striker based at Worcester University.

“We know what Dene Whittal-Williams and Wayne McNeill can do as we have been impressed with them in the games they have played against us in recent years,” said Edwards. “We have been recommended Jack Skinner and he will have the chance to show us his ability in training before we open up our first home pre-season friendly against Blackburn Rovers on Wednesday, 25th July.”
