.....host Blue Square Bet Premier and FA Trophy finalists Newport County on Saturday at the new Spiers & Hartwell Jubilee Stadium.
The match is in memory of Carl Lewis, who was a life-long Newport fanatic.
Carl sadly passed away on the 10th July 2009 aged just 48. He was the brother in law of Evesham committee member Morris Allan, who suggested the fixture and has provided a trophy which Carl’s widow Michelle and family, Carl, Joseph, Christina and Rachel will present to the winners.
Several other family members have been invited by Evesham as guests to the club`s new footballing family stadium.
This game is the start of a busy week of friendlies with Hereford United and Shrewsbury Town visiting on Tuesday and Thursday respectively, followed by near-neighbours, npower League Two side Cheltenham Town, on 21st July.
Tickets are priced at £9 for Adults and £5 for OAP’S and under16′s.
