....of Welling United that there may be changes to the squad, and has now confirmed two departures.
Phil Page is the first to depart. Page, who signed for Boro in November 2011, has made thirty-two appearances for the club scoring ten goals and he was rewarded for his performances last season with the managers` player of the year award.
Ever increasing work commitments has made it difficult for Page to attend training, and it is understood that when the necessary paperwork is completed to rubber stamp his mutual cancellation of contract that he will continue his career at a lower level.
Midfielder Jordan Clarke who signed on the eve of the new season is the second player to be released.
As revealed by Day on Saturday, Medi Abalimba is, for the forseeable future, unavailable and the club will deal with that issue once communication with the player is available.
The club held a trial match behind closed doors at Cherrywood Road on Tuesday night allowing Day to run the rule over a number of potential signings, and he will make his decisions after training on Thursday evening as to if any on show will be brought into the squad.
