The 29-year-old was part of the Curzon Ashton team which lost in last season’s NPL First Division North play-off final to Witton Albion.
He missed the final due to a suspension and his non-appearance was a factor in Witton taking the spoils on the last game of the season.
He was Curzon’s top scorer with twenty-six goals from forty-six appearances and was high in the league goalscoring charts, his nineteen league goals helping Curzon to the runners-up spot.
The season before his thirty-four goals saw him just miss out on the league’s `golden boot` award but a season that also saw him win the supporters` player of the year trophy.
His former clubs include Mossley, Leigh RMI and Bolton Wanderers.
“It’s an excellent signing for us,” said Radcliffe boss Benny Phillips, who has also captured left-back Alex Mortimer from another league rival, Salford City.
Mortimer is an experienced and powerful 29-year-old left-back, who joined Salford from FC United of Manchester.
After spending time as a schoolboy at Manchester United, Mortimer began his professional career with Leicester City, taking in loan spells with Shrewsbury Town and Gainsborough Trinity before spending a successful two seasons with Southport while more recently appearing in the NPL for Leigh Genesis, Mossley, Curzon, and FC United.
