Sean Thomas

....he looks to strengthen the squad for the new season.

McCann said: "I am delighted to confirm that Sean Thomas and James Fisher have signed for the club. Sean, who joins us from Wealdstone, is a high calibre goalkeeper who I believe to be one of the best in the Ryman League Premier Division.

"James, who joins from St Albans City, can play in midfield or operate in a defensive role and I see him as a player of high quality who will complement our squad.

“I am also in negotiations with a number of other experienced players and I'm also assessing and evaluating our current playing squad and hope that the new signings give a clear indication of my intention to strengthen the squad ahead of the new campaign."

Thomas, 23, will be a familiar face to Hendon supporters, having spent two months on loan from Queens Park Rangers in the 2005/06 season during which time he made eight appearances between the sticks.

Meanwhile, 27-year-old Fisher began his career with Chelsea as a youngster, before moving on to Wembley, Wealdstone and Northwood, before joining St Albans, for whom he made over 130 appearances.
