Scott Carter

....the ChromaSport & Trophies United Counties League Premier Division.

Scott Carter, who only returned at the beginning of the season having finished the last campaign with Yaxley, has joined Peterborough Northern Star, where he will link up with a number of former Greens, including Andy Furnell, Denny Escorcio, Adam Weston, Callum Reed and Billy Smith.

The 29-year-old midfielder has had four separate spells at Julius Martin Lane, scoring forty-five goals in his 222 appearances and was also part of the 2008 Ridgeons League title-winning side.

As well as Soham, Carter has played for a number of sides including Warboys Town, Blackstones and Wisbech Town.

Also leaving Soham is attacker Dan Cotton, who has signed for Spalding United.

The 24-year-old arrived at Soham last September from AFC Stamford, going onto to finish the season as top scorer, before scoring three in three this season; in total finding the net thirteen times in his forty-six games.

Cotton has also played for Blackstones and Boston United, where he appeared in the Football League.
