Former Darlington and Solihull Moors midfielder Clarke arrived at the Racecourse last pre-season on trial and went on to win himself a contract.
He made two substitute appearances before his first start came at Gateshead on 4th October, as the Reds knocked off the then league leaders 4-1 at the International Stadium - with Clarke scoring.
He earned himself an extended contract and played in over thirty-five games during the season.
"I've really enjoyed myself at Wrexham and had no hesitation in extending my stay when Mozza offered me a new deal," Clarke said. "We've got a great squad here and the best fans in the league, I just hope we can go one better in 2013."
Hunt has also signed up for another season with the Reds.
Getting ready to head off on his holidays, the midfielder/full-back found time to finalise his new one-year deal.
"It's been a great season for the club, with just the disappointment of missing out in the final two games," said John.
"Now we just want to go one place better next year!"
The 21-year-old featured in over twenty games during 2011/12 and while he didn't score from open play, there can be few who will forget his tremendous penalty in the FA Cup shootout against Brighton!
Initially getting games at left-back, player boss Andy Morrell has also used Hunt to good effect in midfield, increasing his worth to the team.
