David Dowson

.....former Durham City striker David Dowson.

Dowson was the joint third highest scorer in the Evo-Stik Northern Premier League First Division North last season and, along with right-back Stephen Harrison, they have taken the number of new arrivals at Darlington to a dozen in ten days.

Harrison was in the youth system at Sunderland and has since played for Spennymoor Town, Blyth Spartans and Bedlington Terriers.

Dowson, 23, bagged twenty-one league goals last season – twenty-four in all competitions - and he becomes the third player to join Quakers from Durham this summer.
