.....squad when he announced the signing of defenders Eljay Worrell and Bradley Thomas.
Southend-based Worrell played last season with league rivals Tilbury, helping them into the play-offs, and the season prior to that he was with Grays Athletic.
He has also played for Hullbridge Sports and Brentwood Town.
Tracey said “He will bring energy and enthusiast to the defence as well as a wealth of experience from his previous clubs.”
Thomas has also put pen-to-paper to play for the club in season 2012/13.
Thomas is a very experienced central defender who last season was with Grays Athletic, and indeed scored the winner against AFC in March at The MEL Group Stadium.
Tracey said: “Bradley is vastly experienced and is the tough no-nonsense defender I want. He is a winner and will be good with his influence on the players around him.”
Thomas started his career at Peterborough United and was then loaned out to a number of non-League clubs.
He has played in the Conference Premier for Crawley Town and in more recent times has had spells at King’s Lynn, Braintree Town and Concord Rangers.
