Blue Square Bet South newcomers AFC Hornchurch have announced two new signings for the forthcoming season.

Two New Urchins

Sam Cutler

Sam Cutler arrives from now Ryman League Premier Division side Thurrock and Alex Bentley from another Ryman Premier outfit in Cray Wanderers.

Cutler, 22, is a right-back or midfielder who joined Thurrock last season from then Conference South rivals Dover Athletic.

He has around 100 Conference appearances to his name with the likes of Welling United, Grays Athletic, Weymouth and Cambridge United.

Bentley was voted player of the year at Cray in 2010/11 after an excellent debut season at left-back.

He had joined Cray from npower League Two Dagenham & Redbridge`s first-team squad.

They follow the Urchins` earlier recruit Paul Goodacre, who joined from Conference Premier new boys Dartford earlier this month.
