....York City, who were promoted via the play-offs last month.
The 22-year-old was today trying to agree personal terms with the Abbey Stadium club, with the Minstermen getting a five-figure transfer fee from the U`s.
Moke, a graduate of the Glenn Hoddle Academy in Spain, was mostly used as an impact player off the bench last season but had been offered a new contract by manager Gary Mills.
Assistant boss Darron Gee said that was initially accepted but that Moke than changed his mind and cited a desire to play first team football as the major reason to move. "Realistically, he doesn't want another season of being bit-part," he said. "There are no guarantees for the lad and he was having to battle with some quality players.
"He feels he doesn't want to battle that way and wants to go and try and prove himself in a league below.
"We are trying to keep young talent but he wants to go play football and I applaud that."
York chairman Jason McGill added: "We have accepted an offer for him and I believe he is discussing personal terms.
"We are very happy with the transfer fee we will receive and we wish Adriano all the best."
