In the Kent Hurlimann League Premier Division on Tuesday night, VCD Athletic surged into third place with a 3-1 home win against Corinthian.

Michael Golding gave Corinthian a good start with a goal in the 3rd minute but 2 minutes later Michael McKenna equalised.

Vickers went ahead with a goal from James Duckworth to lead at half time by 2-1.

Right after the second kick-off new signing Jack Pallen scored what proved to be the final goal of the game.

In the Kent Senior Cup, Ryman League Division One South side Hythe Town's Richard Sinden put paid to Erith Town's venture.

The Dockers scored first through Ben Williams in the opening 10 minutes but Sinden struck to equalise midway through the first half.

The second half was just 9 minutes old when he struck again to seal the Dockers fate.
