With Scott Hartley unavailable and Ben Higginson likely to be recalled to Bradford Park Avenue at short notice, Goole manager John Reed has brought in the 18-year-old in a one month loan deal from Rovers.

Maxted has signed professional papers with Rovers, having progressed from their successful youth team, where he played in the same side as current Vikings` defender Brett Lucas.
