....added former Scunthorpe United player Lee Wilkinson to the coaching staff.

Wilkinson, 26, is regarded as one of the senior player in the Askern squad and is a popular and well respected member in the changing room and is a great addition to the management team.

Johnston said: “Both Mark and I are pleased that Lee’s agreed to take over as first-team coach. He knows how we work - we’ve all been together a long time now at Frickley Athletic under-19’s and then Askern. We feel it is a positive move for the club, and keeps us moving in the right direction.”
