Vote Molly!
Dave Rainford

.....talented 11-year-old daughter Molly as she sings in her live semi-final on Britain’s Got Talent tonight at 7.30pm on ITV1.

Young vocalist Molly wowed the judges, including new fan Simon Cowell, when she breezed through her recent audition then watched on Saturday night as she was whittled down to the final posse of acts performing for a place in this weekend’s final.

Many players, supporters and officials involved at the club have already expressed their backing for Molly, and her dad has issued a plea for another push when the semis are broadcast tonight.

He explained: “Since Saturday it’s been manic! We’ve had a lot of support and some celebrities, like Radio One’s Scott Mills, have been getting behind Molly, which is great!

“I’ve always encouraged her to have hobbies and she takes part in netball and gymnastics but she’s been taking her singing more seriously over the last couple of years. We’ve known about how well she’s been doing on the show for a while, but we’ve had to keep quiet!

“Of course she’s a big Clarets fan and has been to loads of games to watch me play, and sometimes score! When she’s not there she’s always trying to find out the results and I’ve shown her some of the backing she’s had from the players and supporters and she’s really appreciative of it all. There have even been former Dagenham & Redbridge fans coming out of the woodwork! My chief concern is that she just goes out and enjoys it - we’re so proud of her!”
