....Bamber Bridge and Warrington Town at the QED Stadium.
And it saw Warrington maintain their unbeaten run which now stretches to seven league and cup games after earning a point in a goalless draw.
After a few early scares, Warrington had the best opportunity to open the scoring - captain Peter Dogan rattling the bar with a volley after Brig failed to clear their lines from a free-kick.
Liam Shipton skipped beyond three Brig defenders to fire in a cross which was cleared off the line 20 minutes in.
The second 45 minutes failed to live up to the first with just a pair of real goal scoring chances - home striker Andy Bell fired his volley off target with 48 minutes gone and quarter of an hour later, Brig had another opportunity to put themselves in front. Yellows keeper, Judge was caught off his line but an attempted lob evaded the post and Warrington could breathe again.
An excellent Michael Douglas tackle denied Bell from a clear shot at goal and that was to be the final notable action of what was to be a largely frustrating night.
