Dave Webb

.....announced the appointment of Dave Webb as their new manager.

Chairman Keith Yeomans made the announcement: “Along with the Committee at Swindon Supermarine FC it gives me great pleasure to announce that we now have a new management team in place to take the football club into 2012/13 season.

“I am pleased to welcome new Manager Dave Webb and his assistant Lee Spalding to Webb's Wood Stadium.”

The former Highworth Town duo will take over the managerial position from joint-managers Gary Horgan and Matt Robinson with immediate effect.

Webb left the hot-seat at Uhlsport Hellenic Premier outfit Highworth in order to take the equivalent role at the South Marston club, having won two trophies in four seasons at the Elms.

Yeomans continued: “We are also hopeful that both Gary and Matt will still be involved as players and also Dave Webb is speaking with Gary with a view to him assisting with the coaching of the players.

“We would also like to thank Gary and Matt for their commitment and dedication over the past fifteen months as joint-managers in what were difficult times.”
